Aviga
🛍️E-commerce

We build e-commerce platforms
beyond what Shopify can do.

Aviga builds custom e-commerce and D2C platforms — from headless storefronts to multi-vendor marketplaces. When Shopify can't do what you need, we build it.

What E-commerce founders face

  • Shopify limits customization for complex business models
  • Multi-vendor marketplace logic is notoriously hard to get right
  • Inventory management across multiple warehouses and locations
  • Real-time pricing, promotions, and discount engine complexity
  • International e-commerce: multi-currency, multi-language, multi-tax

E-commerce Development FAQ

Shopify is excellent for standard D2C brands. Build custom when: your business model doesn't fit Shopify's product catalog (services, subscriptions, complex configurables), you need a marketplace with multiple sellers, you require deep ERP/logistics integrations, or you have complex B2B pricing requirements.

Yes. Multi-vendor marketplaces are complex but we've built them before. We handle seller onboarding (KYC, bank accounts), product listing approval workflows, order splitting and routing, commission calculation, payout management, and dispute resolution tools.

For most custom e-commerce builds we use Next.js for the storefront, Node.js/TypeScript for the backend, PostgreSQL for the core database, Redis for caching and sessions, Stripe/Razorpay for payments, and AWS for infrastructure. Elasticsearch or Algolia for search.
